A 60-day voyage through the Australian Coast was terminated following the tragic passing of an elderly woman who was abandoned by the ship on a isolated island.

The elderly woman had been trekking on the tropical location with fellow passengers from the vessel, but parted ways from the group for a pause. The liner sailed away leaving her and came back after some time after the crew became aware the passenger was unaccounted for.

A large-scale rescue mission found her remains the next day.
